Hoping to gauge some more interest in Europe, Infiniti announced today that it will offer the European market a limited-edition Infiniti FX37S and the FX50S.The Infiniti FX Limited Edition will be limited to just 100 units across Western Europe with 18 allocated for the UK.
All individually numbered units will feature Black Obsidian “˜Scratch Guard’ paintwork as standard, with a Moonlight White pearl metallic available as an option. It will ride on 21 inch “˜Turbine’ design alloy wheels, which are finished in dark Graphite. The radiator grille, side air vents and roof rails are in similar trim.
On the inside, the Infiniti FX Limited Edition gets illuminated “˜Infiniti’ door sills, Graphite leather upholstered seats, upper door panels and dashboard with contrasting stitching, and a luxurious Alcantara headlining. There is also genuine carbon fiber used on the dashboard, center console and door panels, replacing the standard “˜cello flame maple wood veneer.
Prices start at £55,855 for the Limited Edition FX37S and £62,035 for the Limited Edition FX50S.

Hoping to reduce its impact on the environment and saving a load of trees from doom, Audi has teamed up with Digital Collateral too. So, if in future you end up falling in love with a certain car, you might not carry home a paper brochure. Instead, all you’ll have to take home is a camera-phone picture of you and that set of wheels. Auto shows will have a greener touch to them with reduction in paper use if other automakers follow in Audi’s footsteps. This will keep quite a few trees from meeting the axe. Paper recycling programs could be hooked on to, for an added environmental save at auto shows!

The first car on the surface of the earth to match up to EURO VI exhaust emission standards has just rolled out of Brabus, packing in a Brabus ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit snuggled inside the all new Mercedes S 350 BlueTEC. The car boasts an additional 55 hp (54 bhp) / 40.5 kW of power with a peak torque of 690 Nm (509 lb-ft), while this is the first tuning kit that met the EURO VI emission standards that will take effect in 2014. The car with the BRABUS tuning managed to stay well below the emissions standards by a good 30%. The maximum power output for these models increases to 313 hp (308 bhp) / 230 kW at a low 3,600 rpm and peak torque grows to 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) and the kit is available for all four body styles of the Mercedes E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and for the new CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model.
Great work done here by Brabus into giving the Mercedes S 350 BlueTEC a darker shade of green.

The “econ” mode of driving will extend the mileage range of the driver by 17% when compared to the most often used normal mode. When driven in the “sport” mode, the Honda Fit EV you can expect the car to accelerate in the same way a compact car with a gasoline engine of 2.0 liters would.
