Rumor: 12 PB Solid State Drives coming next Tuesday?
Just wondering if anyone agrees. That amount of data isn't that big when you think about it..
It doesn't seem that much to me either. But that's probably because Apple will try to not have too many redundant files. But I don't know???

Not gettin' it: people are afraid of THE GOVERNMENT getting the data, through whatever means. Most people don't give 2 craps about specifically Apple having the data.
What i find hilarious about people being afraid of the gvernment statement is that if the gov wants ur info, they will take it. Apple really isnt the people to be afraid of. If the gov wanted totrack you, bitch they will. They dont need phones to do it either. They will make a new day of the week just to make you gone.

In the new Mac Mini I am expecting to see an intel i3 chip, the same RAM, and a little more GHz speed. I also except it to stay the same size, because it will still need to fit DVD's and CD's... if we still even use them.. Lol.

I don't really care about the Apple TV - its not something I see myself using at this point.
I like the iPhone, though I think its a tad pricey, but I wouldn't be in the market for one before early next year, anyway. I might consider getting one at that point.
I was disappointed that there was nothing for the Mac! I wanted to see iLife and iWork '07 and more importantly, hear/see some information about Leopard!

That's Adium with a custom theme, and MacLampsX (http://arcticmac.home.comcast.net/~arcticmac/software/maclampsx.html) doing the bulbs on the screen edges. I usually show my Dock, but didn't want to block any more of the bulbs than necessary.

Maybe the reason they didn't bring it up was because they are working on a new feature (ie new maps or turn by turn gps built into the next iOS; they did mention it was to collect data for something like that), but now that the media has blown it out of proportion, they had to come out and address it. At least, that's what I'm assuming Apple's point of view was.

Some people will want to wait for the 5. Some, need a phone now, and happen to like the white. Some people will like the white so much that they will pay extra for it. You get to make your own decisions regarding the matter - including the right to not buy a smartphone at all. Why all the hatin'? :)
