That's a great idea! I'd love to see that for when I'm traveling and don't want to turn on international data roaming for the internet, but can still use cell towers for triangulation of my position.

i just tried to open a new finder window and one woudlnt open - i tried several times. then i tried opening up a folder through my desktop and that would open. i tried several other folders and none would work. i cant get into my folders or finder - help!?

I saw a commercial for RIM's playbook the other day. It has some uniqueness to the interface. Sure all tablets are going to be similar to an extent but at least RIM tried to put a little originality into theirs unlike Samsung and their blatant copy of the ipad.

What Apple needs to do is establish the "normal" rights a user gets when they buy a video. Of course every Disney film will come with the normal, default rights. Then if another studio wants to sell a video with different rights attached iTunes should clearly label the video in big red letters as being "crippled with restrictive usage rights" Then a pop-up dialog box should appear that explains this and asks "Do you really want this crap are would you prefer we mailed you the DVD copy" Finally after reading the warning label and clicking yes in the pop up you can download the film.
In my opinion the whole argument is moot. The video quality is so low I would never buy it.

Actually yes... If you cross the road without looking.. You deserve to get hit by a car. What the hell kind of example is that? If you're going to spend $450 on something, you should AT LEAST be smart enough to read the description of the product. I never once said the seller was right in doing so, so don't you dare call me a scum... Maybe you should re-read my post before you try and act like a smart guy. We don't need anymore trolls around here. I clearly stated the buyer deserves to lose his money for complete stupidity.

Maybe. Maybe it won't matter at all. People who "manage" are not the people who actually "do". Unlike the common beliefs, those products are team efforts and not the brain children of a single person.
If OS X stops being good, we can still use Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris or even Windows. Ubuntu Linux might not be as "awesome, magical, beautiful" as Mac OS X, but it has become an amazingly great - and FREE! - operating system, so I'm not in the least concerned about the future of OS X and Apple. My life doesn't depend on the products of that company in Cupertino.

Reason it isn't a disgrace: The white enclosure apparently was causing trouble with the camera due to light leakage. You would most likely be calling that disgraceful if they had indeed released a 500$ phone with that rather huge flaw, so I guess they can't win.
I know the reason, or the supposed reason (who knows, Apple has been as tight lipped as ever on the issue) . If true, its a disgrace it made it to the keynote presentation, without the issue being identified or a reasonable fix found. I don't care how you square it - being 10 months late for a device who has an average life of 12 months is utter incompetence and hence disgraceful.

Yes, and they're all just bleeding heart emotional responses, and i don't buy into that crap. Sorry, but my opinion on this isn't changing. Funny, the polls say non-religious people between the age of 18-29 are most likely to support the death penalty, and that's exactly where i fit.

The only meaningful way to save the red countries from depopulation is to eliminate access to birth control and abortions. Places have tried to boost birth rates, it hasn't succeeded.
And tell me...how do you figure out this 2.1 magic number? What's wrong with 1.9? Does the human race have to be like bateria and proliferate all over the place consuming the earth until the land is barren? That's what you want? You want Europe to be like China and run out of food such that they have to give "child licenses" so that ppl won't starve to death? Oh...I know...how about Afghanistan which is what? Like 7?
